Why You Should Join the YES Team

There are many benefits of joining the YES Team. You have the opportunity to develop leadership skills while getting involved in your community. You will also be raising awareness about serious issues such as Measles and Milaria. You have the opportunity to get involved with an important service organization that works towards bettering your community and the world.

Committed, caring and responsible volunteers are the heart and soul of the American Red Cross.

You can select programs that you feel are relevant to your community. A small change, such as a new recycling program can help make a big difference in your community and the world. The Team can also select service activities that help people in other countries.

As a member of the YES Team, you will have the opportunity to take courses in Disaster Relief. In return, you can go to disaster sites with the adult volunteers at the Alexandria Red Cross and help provide relief to the members of our community.
