Disaster Action Team  Weekend Training Opportunity

The Alexandria & Arlington Chapters Disaster Team will be hosting a special weekend DAT Training Semester on July 18, 19 and 20th (Friday-Sunday).  The courses include Fulfilling our Mission, Mass Care overview, Client Casework, DAT orientation & drill.

Community Blood Suply at Crisis Level

Low donation rates throughout the summer have caused the community blood supply for all blood types to drop to a crisis level. The current blood supply level is inadequate to meet the needs of hospitals in the area, and in some cases procedures may be delayed until the blood supply is replenished. All eligible donors are encouraged to call 1-800-GIVE LIFE or visit www.my-redcross.org.
