Your donation will support the victims of local disasters, allowing the Alexandria Red Cross to respond to many local disasters each year, including single family and apartment fires, wildfires, flooding, ice storms, hurricanes, gas main breaks and other emergencies. Because of your generosity we can provide direct relief, including shelters, food, clothing, temporary housing, prescriptions, mental health counseling and more to the victims of disasters.

$25 will help provide 5 blankets at an emergency.

$35 will help replace a necessary prescription medication.

$65 will provide meals for a day and one night in a local motel for an individual.

$115 will provide groceries for a family of four.

$350 will provide one day's shelter and food for 50 disaster victims.
